What I Teach
I teach acoustic guitar, electric guitar and electric bass, as well as music theory. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you are a complete beginner, picking it back up after a break, or working towards a specific song or style.
Lessons tailored to your level
Affordable Rates
Lessons are €20 for 30 minutes or €40 for a full hour. Lessons can take place at my home in Furbo, Co. Galway, at your home or over Zoom.
Beginners: We’ll start by talking about your musical interests on guitar or bass. Whether you’re learning for fun or working towards a grade, we’ll find an enjoyable way to build the basics while playing music you like. If you're working towards a grade, we can work through your textbook together along with other helpful resources.

Intermediate: For intermediate players, there are plenty of ways to develop your existing skills. ​This can include expanding your chord knowledge with alternative fingerings (which gives a great understanding of how our knowledge of music theory intertwines with the choices we make in a song), to harmonics, soloing and tips and tricks to be able to use these in a live situation.

Advanced: For advanced bass guitar or music theory lessons, there are lots of options depending on what you’d like to focus on. This could include topping up your knowledge on scales, arpeggios, songs or techniques that you're working on, playing pieces for fun, preparing for an exam or anything else you can think of! For advanced guitar lessons or advanced techniques, I can refer you to another one of Galway's excellent guitar tutor's who can help.
