It's been a little while since I checked in about life on the road. Christmas time is always a busy time for musicians as we scramble to cash in on the abundance of gigs around this time before things go quiet for the rest of the winter. 10 gigs in 14 days just before and after Christmas time included trips to the Midlands, Galway city and around Connemara. This weekend a couple of late additions to the calendar meant two nights in a row at the Hole-in-The-Wall bar in town and Sunday evening at the street-level bar at The Quays - which was actually my first time playing in the downstairs bar.
