A Big Thank You!
To everyone who is reading this, and who I have worked with this year, or will work with soon, thank you sincerely for taking the time to invite me to your wedding, birthday party or private event to have my songs be the soundtrack to your special day. It's really a great honour every time someone chooses to book with me in Ireland over the seemingly infinite number of different options out there and it's a great thing to know that the tens of thousands of practise hours i've put in over the years has come in handy!
I laughed when I first heard that you could study pop music at university but since completing my music degree course in 2016 and getting my first professional job on a cruise ship in 2019 i've hardly looked back. To be still able to call myself a professional in 2026 thirteen years after heading off to London on the train with my suitcase and guitar is pretty darn cool.
A lot of work goes into preparing for the work that I do - but that work would be nothing without the trust you put in me to bring joy to your events. It can seem at times that we are short of happiness in our day to day lives and I often see myself as in the business of happiness, as when you're happy smiling and enjoying your wedding, party or family function - i'm happy! Here's to many more years of doing this job!
